The challenge
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to accelerate business growth in Portugal. This is a
key role, working closely with top management, combining business development, strategic analysis and the management of key client relationships
The mission
Define and execute Altavia Ibérica’s business development strategy, in close collaboration with top
management.
Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities, both in new business and client development.
Lead the full business development cycle, from opportunity identification to the closing of strategic
deals.Build high-level relationships with key decision-makers.
Grow the potential of existing accounts by identifying new business opportunities.
Lead the presentation of strategic proposals, in both pitch situations and formal tender processes.
Manage projects and accounts with a strong focus on profitability, quality and delivery timelines.
Analyze pipeline, margins and commercial performance to support decision-making.
Coordinate internal teams and maintain a high level of executional excellence.
Contribute to business steering through a clear reading of financial and profitability KPIs.
Requirements
Previous experience in consulting, followed by a strong track record in selling high value-added
services, either within service-based companies or from the advertiser/brand side.
A professional background, with between 10 and 15 years of experience.
A clearly business-minded profile, results-oriented.
Ability to analyze figures, assess profitability and make strategic decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Potential to evolve towards a strategic client management role.
Knowledge of sectors such as Retail, FMCG, Luxury or Laboratory is a plus.
Languages: fluent Portuguese, professional English. French and/or Spanish are a plus.

Location: Lisboa (Miraflores/Alges area).
Hybrid work model: up to 8 remote working days per month.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00–14:00 / 15:30–18:30, Friday 9:00–15:00.

Expected start date: April 2026.
