Project Manager
We have a lot to share at Altavia. Join us soon! The Altavia China team
Who we are:
Altavia China is an agency of the Altavia group. We provide integrated creative and management solutions that help retail brands around the world boost their business and also increase their social value.
We are creators and explorers. Creativity drives our business & exploration brings joy.
To develop our business, we are looking for a project manager !
Your missions:
End-to-End Project Management:
Leverage extensive experience to manage the full lifecycle of key client projects—from requirement alignment and design proposal communication to POSM production, as well as on-site installation and delivery for events, window displays, and retail stores. Act as the vital bridge between clients and internal departments (design, supplier QC, etc.) to ensure the efficient and precise execution of projects from blueprint to reality.
Customized Solution Development:
Develop a deep understanding of the client’s brand, products, and marketing strategy positioning. Tailor integrated service solutions covering design, production, and on-site installation based on the client’s retail visual and event needs, including full-category POSM materials, roadshow and pop-up store construction, store/counter/display fixtures, and window visual presentations.
On-site Execution & Quality Control:
Responsible for the on-site execution and schedule management of store, counter, and fixture installations, window displays, pop-up constructions, and POSM placement. Strictly supervise on-site installation quality, material workmanship, and final visual presentation. Effectively resolve unexpected issues during installation (e.g., fixture fitting, site constraints) to ensure smooth client acceptance and delivery.
Client Relationship & Business Growth:
As the core point of contact, establish a regular follow-up mechanism to quickly respond to and handle client complaints and after-sales requests regarding material QC and on-site installation. Enhance client stickiness through high-quality retail visual execution experiences. Uncover clients’ extended needs for seasonal campaign changeovers, new product launches (pop-up events/POSM iterations/window updates), and drive repeat business and cross-selling.
Process Optimization & Resource Allocation:
Establish an efficient collaboration mechanism across the “Brief - Design - Sampling - Production - Installation” workflow. Participate in company design and production capacity planning; reasonably allocate schedules for design, production, and on-site installation teams based on business forecasts. Continuously optimize the supply chain and on-site installation processes for POSM and event materials by analyzing historical project data, and propose cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancement solutions.
Financial & AR Management:
Strictly follow contract terms and actual project delivery/acceptance milestones to follow up and coordinate with internal finance for reconciliation and invoicing. Proactively formulate payment collection plans, collect accounts receivable on schedule, properly handle exceptions during the collection process, mitigate bad debt risks, and ensure the timely return of company funds.
What you need to carry out the mission :
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Design, Printing, or Packaging. Communications, or related fields. Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in below-the-line (BTL) agencies, retail visual merchandising (VM), or event marketing, with a proven track record of handling key account projects.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of POSM, retail fixtures, pop-up store construction, and window display production processes. Familiar with various materials, printing techniques, and on-site construction standards.
Project Management Skills: Exceptional end-to-end project management capabilities. Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously, with strong problem-solving skills to address emergencies on-site (e.g., layout adjustments, material damage, weather issues).
Client & Commercial Acumen: Strong account management and communication skills. Proactive in identifying business opportunities and driving cross-selling/up-selling. Experience in contract negotiation, budget control, and profitability management.
Financial Awareness: Solid understanding of project P&L (Profit and Loss). Proven experience in managing accounts receivable (AR), following up on payment collections, and mitigating financial risks.
Cross-functional Leadership: Excellent internal coordination and leadership skills to align Design, Procurement, Production, and Finance teams. Ability to drive process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Language & Tools: Fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is highly preferred for multinational clients. Proficient in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
